NHC has been lucky and the awareness team, cald amareness team has join the bondi ranks!
its like an emotional-support-crew for the attendies and other attending the con!
here is a littlebit about them if you have not seen them on other cons before 😀

we are the “amareness team” & we wear pink vests. there’s also a telegram & phone number if you want to reach us. you can find them on the posters.
we have pink fanny packs on us with snacks, ear plugs, paper tissues, hair ties…, little things for your well-being

you can come to us, whenever you feel unsafe/alone/harassed/overwhelmed. It is important to us that you have control in those difficult situations. We won’t do anything you haven’t agreed to beforehand.
At conventions, everypony often forgets self-care. Conventions mean a lot of people, it’s loud, there’s program everywhere, overstimulation. Please drink & eat enough, take breaks, and listen to your body. There’s no shame in skipping a panel if you need to care for yourself!
The amareness team can show you to a quiet room and help you if you feel overstimulated, if you want
Nobody needs to be alone when feeling bad. Take care of each other!
